NEW YORK CITY (TND) — New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Wednesday warned the U.S. higher education system may be “radicalizing” students.
The mayor's comment came during a reception celebrating Jewish heritage. During an address at the event, Adams reflected on the past academic year, which was full of anti-Israel and anti-American sentiments as students rallied in favor of Palestine.
“We have moved so far away from our patriotism and what really rooted us in the success in the first place,” he lamented.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (TND) — Harvard University announced Tuesday it will no longer comment on “issues outside its core function,” citing a desire to not become “a government.”
The decision follows a report by two university working groups which examined the impact of statements by Harvard and other universities. Working group chairs say they concluded Harvard should refrain from speaking out on an issue that does not affect its operations directly.
