Viral video shows contaminated rice at Pennsylvania Dollar General store

SNOW SHOE, Pa. (WJAC) – A video posted on Facebook that shows some type of bug crawling around in a bag of rice is getting attention from thousands of people in Centre County. The video was posted to Facebook by Mark Rusnak on Saturday. It had been shared almost 45,000 times as of Tuesday night. In the post, Rusnak said the video was taken at the Dollar General store in Snow Shoe.

Building, multiple cars deemed total loss after Somerset County auto shop fire

Crews were on scene of a fire at Hauger's Automative Services in Stoystown for several hours early Saturday morning, emergency officials said. According to deputy chief for Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department John Abramowich, the call came in around 2:30 a.m. The owner of the shop Robert Hauger said he and his wife Laura saw the fire from their bedroom window after they were woken up in their nearby home to the sound of a smoke detector going off.

Lancaster County teen charged with homicide had 'suicidal' thoughts before killing

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — UPDATE: The Lancaster County Coroner's Office has ruled 19-year-old Helen Miller's death a homicide. The coroner says that Miller died from multiple stab wounds to the body.
