Johnstown Walmart closing in response to Saturday's protests, other stores follow

RICHLAND, Pa (WJAC) — Employees with the Johnstown Walmart, located in Richland Township, confirmed to 6 News that the store will be closing Saturday at noon, in response to the scheduled protests downtown. The store closing is a precautionary measure, store associates added. Our 6 News crew confirmed that most of the Richland Town Center Plaza is now closed. The only stores that were observed as still operational are the Dollar Tree and Five Guys restaurant.

But at Centre Lifelink EMS in State College, there's an actual brother-sister duo saving lives together on emergency calls. Their journey actually began 15 years ago when touring an ambulance as kids. Nearly 200% increase in young adults seeking credit counseling amid soaring debt

(TND) — Young adults are increasingly digging a hole of credit card debt. Money Management International, one of the country's largest nonprofit credit counseling organizations, is seeing an increase in people 18-29 seeking its help. “What we're seeing is that the younger adults are growing at a faster rate, and the level of debt they're carrying is growing at a faster rate,” Thomas Nitzsche, a financial educator at MMI, said Friday.

Principal's leadership blamed for mass teacher exodus at Las Vegas school

They said the top boss at Joseph Neal STEAM Academy is causing longtime teachers to leave and that student concerns are also not being addressed. They want the district to step in before children get impacted in the classroom. There's teachers that are planning on retiring out of this school, and they're not now.

PSP investigating 'suspicious' death of infant in Fulton County

FULTON COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Fulton County say police are investigating the "suspicious" death of an infant in McConnellsburg. Police say troopers were dispatched Monday morning, just before 9 a.m., to the area of Lincoln Way East and South Second Street, in McConnellsburg Borough, where they reportedly found an unresponsive infant. Troopers say the child was later pronounced dead at the scene by the Fulton County coroner's office.
