JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — At a press conference outside one of his local gaming parlors, the owner of 3C Amusements shook his head and laughed as a game of skill manufacturer announced their reasoning for filing a lawsuit against the business over what they say is 3C's use of machines that have been ruled by a Cambria County judge to be a gambling device.
The nuisance lawsuit is being filed by Pace-O-Matic, the maker of 'Pennsylvania Skill' machines, which has produced 12,000 devices used by local bars, restaurants, and clubs to play games that lawmakers are working to ban once and for all.
Windber's Church of the Nazarene was struck by lightning Sunday morning which caused a portion of the building to catch on fire.
Crews arrived on scene at 4:15 am and left around 8:00 am with only one minor injury reported which was sustained by a member of the fire crew.
The building was empty at the time of the accident but officials say that because of last night's storm it took neighbors a while to notice that something wasn't right.

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) — The National Weather Service has confirmed eight tornadoes in Pennsylvania and New Jersey during Thursday's storm, including the EF-3 storm in eastern Pennsylvania and an EF-2 tornado that started in the Keystone State and then moved into the Garden State. Authorities in Bucks County said the EF-3 tornado that contained top winds of 140 when it struck Bensalem, damaging an auto dealership and a mobile home park.
Investigators continue working to solve homicide cases in Cambria County that so far there is no arrest for.
“Cases like this we are always looking at how can we look at something different or what can we do that's different,” Cambria County district attorney Greg Neugebauer said.
It has now been over two years since late April 2022 when Britney Rummell, Lionel Mickens, and his dog Daniel were all found shot to death in a home along Pine Street in the Hornerstown neighborhood of Johnstown.
