CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — A Morrisdale woman has been charged with shooting her husband and then claiming he killed himself so she could get access to a million-dollar will, investigators say.
Clearfield County District Attorney William Shaw tells 6 News that 46-year-old Kimberly Williams, of Morrisdale, faces multiple charges in the slaying of her husband, Ronald Williams Jr.
The case was originally reported as a suicide, but ballistics evidence led investigators to rule it a homicide.
STATE COLLEGE -- A fraternity at Penn State is facing charges over a woman's alcohol consumption at the frat house.
The Centre Daily Times reports the 19-year-old woman was taken to a hospital Nov. 11 for alcohol overdose treatment after police found her outside Alpha Sigma Phi. They say she was being held up by two friends as she went in and out of consciousness.
In a later interview, she told police she went to the frat party on her birthday and was served about five vodka drinks.
Next week, four high schoolers will wrestle in a tournament that gives them the opportunity to qualify for the upcoming summer Olympics.
Last week, some of those high school wrestlers going to the tournament didn't realize they were able to compete, since most qualifiers required the wrestlers to be 18 or older, but with this tournament, open those born in 2006, these competitors couldn't say no.
