Penguins trade forward Jared McCann to Toronto

PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded forward Jared McCann to the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for forward Filip Hallander and a 2023 seventh-round draft pick. "We are excited to add Filip back to the organization. He is a well-rounded player with good size who plays the game the right way," said Penguins general manager Ron Hextall. Spring Mills man sentenced to at least 2-and-a-half years in prison in child porn case

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — A Centre County man will spend at least two and half years behind bars after pleading guilty on child pornography charges. It was almost a year ago, late last August, when police and agents from the state attorney general’s office served a search warrant on the Spring Mills area home of Lucas Garber. The police raid resulted in the 27-year-old Garber being charged with 33 felony counts of possessing child pornography.

Walgreens joins big-box price cuts with over 1,300 items discounted this summer

Walgreens announced Wednesday it would be slashing prices on over 1,300 products as part of their "Summer of Savings." The company joined several big-box retailers taking the same initiative to try and boost sales amid increasing inflation.
